Schild Estate Merlot 2020

Dried rosella florals, blood plums, pomegranate, and boysenberry with red cherries in syrup. Mocha, tonka bean and coffee pods. Vanilla bean, caramel and cinnamon quill. Furniture polish and new leather oak. There is a real mix of red fruit with baking spices and neighborhood cafe aromas. Fairly astute for a bottle aged merlot, it is drinking well now and will cellar for a further couple of years. Drink alongside sticky baby back ribs and coleslaw.
