School House Headmaster Pinot Gris 2025

Ticks all the boxes for a light and fragrant example of this Italian variety from the Limestone Coast. Opens with apple, pear and slightly lemon zest characters, which are typical of the variety. There are some subtle floral notes, and then into the palate, that zippy citrus and apple and pear crumble character takes over. It’s fine, it’s fresh, with a crisp lingering acidity to sustain. A nice dry finish.
