See Saw Invergo Organic Syrah 2021

Shiraz does so, so very well across the Orange region. Not sure why See Saw makes both a Syrah and a Shiraz – they are the same grape – but the result is the same for both whatever the name with an incredible, all-encompassing celebration of spiciness. The ’21 Syrah is dense in brilliant purple hues. Great anise, peppery spice lift on the bouquet with a touch of florals – violets, iris – and black cherry, bramble, plum, vanilla. A lively young Syrah chockful in quality dark fruits laced in spice, bitter chocolate and discreet melding of oak from nine months maturation in seasoned French barrels.
