Seppelt Drumborg Riesling 2025

Share

For those in the know, Drumborg elicits images of frosty, foggy mornings in one of Australia’s coldest subregions, and it’s the ideal spot for creating crisp, mouth-watering Riesling. There’s so much going on aromatically as soon as the wine is poured: peach, lemon, chalk, a touch of melon and some delightful lime and blossom; there’s also a salty note which is then carried through to the palate, enhancing the mouth-watering aspects. The palate is superb – silky and energetic – with a bracing finish. It’s still a young thing so drink it now or wait a few years and see it flourish.
