Short Stories Mt Benson Pinot Gris Field Blend 2023

Share

While Pinot Gris may take centre stage here, it is joined by both Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. The wine enjoys a percentage of barrel fermentation to enhance the complexity. The colour does have a touch of blushing pink to it, as one often sees with Pinot Gris. There are lifted, punchy aromatics with pears, peaches, citrus, lemon and wet slate. The wine is balanced with very good length, and the pears emerge even more on the palate. A wine with force to enjoy over the next three to four years.
