Singlefile Rosé 2024

Singlefile has a great reputation and with good reason. Across the board, their wines are consistently well-made from excellent fruit. The feeling you get from the first bite into the first just-ripe white peach of the summer? Captured here perfectly. A little slate frames peach blossom, spring hay and peach-laden frangipane tart. Focused and taut line of acidity frames the ever-so-slightly lush orchard spectrum, a hint of prosciutto, finishing with a rock salt crunch underfoot. Talc phenolics and a simmering fruit core lift this Rosé from simply delicious to supremely classy. While the bottle reflects the elegance in the glass, it would be nice to have a bit less glass weight.
