The well pitched 2023 Corduroy Chardonnay, from the cooler Margaret River sub-region of Karridale, is impressive with its upfront aromas of nectarine and fuzzy peach skin with handsome nutty oak and barrel ferment well positioned. A nice touch of smoky reduction is well matched to a vibrant stream of flavour, still young and tightly wound. Lots to like here with benefits for those who are patient.
