Soumah Upper Ngumby Vineyard Chardonnay 2025

The question is – do you drink now or save for later? This single vineyard Yarra Valley Chardonnay is so nicely concentrated and integrated that the tendency to indulge right now is strong. This is a wine to test your willpower. Quiet in aromas, a little subdued at first, in lemon citrus, white peach, pear, spring florals and dusty honeysuckle. Beautifully composed with an almost effortless flavour intensity, texture and length with luscious citrus and summer stone fruits anchored to a solid acidity and a core of quality, biscuity oak. Has presence and enough power under the hood to keep going, but this is just so friendly you will be sorely tempted to open now.
