Hahndorf Hill Shiraz 2023

Share

Another excellent example of cool-climate Shiraz from the Adelaide Hills. It shows the typical combination of red and black fruits with a lift of spice and black pepper. There’s even a faint chocolatey, liquorice-like character. The palate is smooth but has some firmish, fine supporting tannins, with a lift of oak carrying through to the finish. It’s a wine that seems to be coming together perfectly at the moment, and it will deliver a lovely mature example of the region over the coming years.
