St Hallett Sacred Ground Shiraz 2022

It’s an eye-catching, brilliant ruby-red colour with enticing aromas of wild black cherries, currants, plums, dark chocolate, cracked black pepper, and vanilla. The vinous palate opening is followed by fine-grained, delightfully bitter tannins. It’s a well-balanced, composed wine without any extremes, and, interestingly, the 14.5% ABV doesn’t translate into a massive kick of heat but rather a cozy, warm feeling at the end. It’s great to drink now.
