St Hugo Signature Collection Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

An absolutely classic St Hugo and classic Coonawarra. Deep crimson and then showing a delicious mix of power and subtlety that is perfectly pitched and a tribute to winemaker Peter Munro. Aromas are beautifully fine, focused and pure – perfumed cassis, cedar aromas with subtle dried herbs – pristine and balanced. Superbly vibrant fruit follows on the palate with quite powerful upfront impact before settling into juicy dark, mid-weight fruits underpinned by firm but fine tannins that are balanced and support a long sinewy finish. Compact now it will build volume over time and deliver for many years to come.
