Streicker Bridgeland Block Pinot Noir 2023

Share

Fruit is sourced from the Bridgeland Vineyard in Karridale. Handpicked and destemmed fermented in Bugundian style oak barrels of which 25% were new for 10 months prior to bottling. A brilliantly perfumed wine with rose petal, lavender and pink peppercorn. Red cherries are met with persimmon and pomegranate. A slight hint of orange blossom too. It’s balanced on pointe with delicately light feet and swirls of crunchy acidity. Tannins are silky with some cranberries and red terra cotta clay on the finish. This is an ideal luncheon wine to have with a duck red curry or mushroom risotto, it will cut right through creamy or richly weighted dishes with ease. Drink now or will cellar another 3-4 years.
