Taylors St Andrews Clare Valley Riesling 2021

Share

The 2021 St Andrews is alive with bush lemon skin, white tea leaf and honeysuckle. It’s laser sharp with direct acidity and cracked chalky stone to finish, predictably dry but with a good deal of fruit weight which allows for presence and persistence. This is in a really nice place for those fish dinners, dover sole baked whole with lemon and scattered herbs and plenty of butter. It’s still got another decade to satisfy but for those that enjoy Clare Valley Riesling in its citrus youth, this has the intensity now as well.
