Tenuta Corte Giacobbe Pinot Grigio 2021

This wine absolutely leaps from the glass with the enthusiasm of a Labrador puppy. There’s lemon, lime, and juicy white nectarine in droves. In the background a herbal undertone of lemongrass adds complexity alongside a bright seashell minerality. In the mouth is it fresh and lively with gorgeous concentration of flavour and length to impress. Pinot Grigio is often refreshing and crowd-pleasing but not always terribly interesting- this nails the first two and defies the third – it’s absolutely fascinating! Time in the glass reveals more grapefruit, tangy kiwi fruit and bison grass with some moreish texture provided by lees stirring. Drink with…summer.
