This sophisticated 2022 single vineyard Sauvignon Blanc displays the hallmarks of impressive winemaking and viticulture. Varietal characters are dialled back but the wine does not suffer. It delivers an rich line of aromatics ranging from guava, melon and pineapple with the barest hint of herbal tones, well underpinned by layers of praline barrel ferment and maturation complexity, topped by savoury leesy tones. Truly flavoursome, with fresh acidity supporting a creamy textural palate before tightening up over a long, al-dente finish. Lovely wine that will flower over the next decade.
