A blend of refosco del peduncolo rosso and merlot. Fermentation in stainless steel, before maturation in barrique for 24 months. High density, 70 cm spacing, low yields. Red plum, blackberry, subtle spice. The palate is plush and round. Vanilla, blackberry, black plum, and a hint of spice. A ripe and fruit driven wine with firm tannins and a brooding broad-shouldered complexion.
