The Hedonist Shiraz 2023

Sourced from three certified organic and biodynamic vineyards across the McLaren Vale region with a range of fermentation techniques, part whole berry, part whole bunch, 16 months maturation in larger and mid-sized oak vessels, French mostly with a tiny 10% American. Deeply varietal aromas tending to blacker fruits with dark spices and a good smatter of black pepper, all of which spill generously into the tasting, gathering further density with a chocolatey coating with a rising richness, tempered however with a soft acidity underneath and gentle, juicy tannins to finish. Immensely satisfying.
