Well, it’s ripe, it’s rounded and comes with a lovely expression of cooler climate Pinot Noir, albeit from a warmer vintage. Consider that a good sign. Immediately cherry and plummy, fresh and alive in the glass with black cherry, red plum, raspberries fruits firing alongside spice, a pinch of herbs, Aussie bush notes and cocoa. Fine supple tannins bring an easy drinking aspect, while a nice touch of tannin grip to close adds that extra feeling of quality. Good value and the drinking options are there. Solo or with food – it’s a winner.
