Thymiopoulos ATMA White Xinomavro Malagousia 2018

This is a very unique Greek blend with biodynamically grown Zinomavro blended with Malagousia from Naoussa. Its is bright medium straw in colour and very expressive, almost exotic, with attractive white peach, apricot and lemon rind fruits plus a salty edge all followed by a punchy palate that is dry, crisp and savoury with some almond kernel flavours right on the finish. This is modern Greek winemaking at its best with bright fruits yet retaining its heritage making it perfect for warm Spanakopita.
