Pewsey Vale Riesling 2020

Share

This is a great effort from what was not the easiest of years that has retained its elegance and delicacy, even if it is a little riper than usual. Bright light straw, it’s already quite richly aromatic for Pewsey Vale, which normally starts its life in a more shy and delicate mood. There are layers of pear, green mango and citrus fruits which are bright and youthful. The palate is then silky and dry with spicy/musky fruits supported by fine acidity that helps to provide a lingering finish. It’s not a classic release but offers delicious drinking over the next three to five years.
