Tim Smith Eden Valley Viognier 2025

Share

Jonquil bloom leads, entwined with honeysuckle, lemon balm and bee pollen. Notes of peach candy and a gentle dusting of powdered cumin adds a base tone to the wine.  Here, Tim Smith demonstrates his skill in preserving varietal character while carefully shaping the wine through crunchy acidity and impressive extension. This is Viognier in full voice, textural, aromatic and generous and yet carried with a moreish drinkability that is rarely achieved. A gentle warmth lingers on the finish, confident and reassuring, like an embrace that holds your attention long after the final sip.
