A blend of 70% Shiraz and 30% Mataro from the Clare Valley, the colour is a deep maroon with a magenta rim. Ripe, approachable and softly structured, this is generous to a fault with the aromas weaving through chocolate, plums, black fruits, licorice and coffee beans. Full of flavour, this is a joy to drink. There is very good persistence right through to the fine tannins. Love it. For enjoying anytime over the next four to eight years.
