Two Hands Angels’ Share McLaren Vale Shiraz 2019

Share

The Angels Share is the mythical wine that evaporates from wine barrels during aging, which also helps to concentrate the flavours for us mere mortals. Here we have a rich and powerful McLaren Vale style – decadent in its power but also retaining good fruit complexity. It’s a wine that fans of old-fashioned McLaren Vale Shiraz will lap up.

Deeply coloured and flavoured, it opens with rich mulberry and blueberry fruits laced with milk chocolate and even a little violet lift which offers a touch of subtlety over all that luscious fruit. The palate then explodes with dark fruits and well chosen oak which come together to provide a delicious and complete package, finishing off with some chewy tannins and a long, strong finish. Good value and a great match with slow cooked beef cheeks.
