Two Tonne Tasmania TMV Chardonnay 2024

Share

Freshness abounds here, delivering classic Tasmanian purity and drive, while also offering impressive intensity and structure – particularly at $38. Powdery red apple, lemon zest, talc, and acacia flower lift from the glass, layered over bitter almond, toffee, and a dusting of nutmeg spice. It’s fresh, pure, and nicely aromatic, especially with a swirl. The palate follows in kind – bright, lissom, and mouth-coating, with vivid fruit notes of green apple, lemon juice, and kumquat. Those toffee and almond tones reappear, supported by a lick of chalky phenolics and zesty acidity that drives everything forward. Very good length, in fact. A delicious and generous Tasmanian Chardonnay offering exceptional value.
