Ulithorne Antiqua McLaren Vale Shiraz 2018

Share

Wines like this have made McLaren Vale plenty of friends over the years. Bold wines with lashings of fruit that deliver with personality and style. Bright deep ruby in colour, this is a dense, open knit Shiraz delivering jubey, fruit pastille aromas with wafts of tar and licorice. There are then layers of mouth filling dark fruits and warming alcohol nicely matched by vanilla bean oak. A nice little touch of tannin grip wraps it all up nicely suggesting a good match with roast pork, with crackling of course.
