Varney Wines Entrada GMT 2023

Share

This take on what is more commonly a GSM blend comes here as a 73% Grenache, 18% Mourvèdre and 9% Touriga combo, each variety sourced from different districts within the McLaren Vale region, picked early to focus on a more vibrant wine style rather than weighty. Thus the fruit feel is distinctly red berried with a background woody spice courtesy of a short maturation in seasoned French barriques. Buoyant, spicy, peppery and youthful, suited to casual fare such as pizza and Mediterranean snacking.
