The cooler 2021 vintage has produced a fine and detailed example of Margaret River Chardonnay which displays elegance over power. Bright and composed, the key here is fruit vibrancy as it delivers wafts of melon, citrus and white flower aromas well matched to a savoury backbone of oatmeal and oak spice. That energetic vitality continues with zesty acidity providing impact before building layers of honeydew melon and citrus with an attractive textural mouthfeel to finish. A solid vintage that needs 3-4 years in bottle to show its best.
