Vasse Felix Heytesbury Chardonnay 2021

Share

This is a big step up from the Premier Chardonnay of the same vintage that jumps out of the blocks with piercing aromas of sherbet, lemon pith, just ripe melon which are are young and tight, a firm oak backbone locked up in a ball of citrus fruits. Lovely savoury feel to the palate – nutty, gun flint rising over citrus and florals with purity and focus in spades before a zip of acidity drives a long almost saline finish. Fantastic winemaking from a challenging vintage.
