Vickery The Reserve Eden Riesling 2022

Struck stone, sparkler dust and tangerine oil. A hint of peach and crab apple. The later vintage has allowed for good hang time and you can see that in the maturity of ripening, there is an abundance of character and drive in this wine. Some staying power in the grainy quince like texture and a dry but lasting note of melon and lemon rind. This would be ideal with a roast chook with lemon rind under the skin, duck fat potatoes and old fashioned gravy. Drink now or allow to rest for another 8 years or so.
