The beautiful purpled hue in this blend made me smile — we are visual people, after all. Colour matters. Jubey blackcurrant, meaty flesh, and ink. This wine is big, and it makes me feel warm and fuzzy. Blackberry jam, char, and black fruits. Aromatically it’s pretty, but structurally it’s powerful — and I enjoyed the ride. It does its job, and for $25, this is a steal.
