An altogether different take on what you might find with Cabernet from Australia. Structure and weight wise it is more towards Coonawarra, but then it deviates with a more rustic grippy character of structure and poise. Floral rose petals and blackcurrant aromas with a trace of brick dust. The palate is still tightly woven with grainy tannins and fine-grained oak working well. It will handle cellaring.
