Italian at heart and endowment of fruit only Langhorne Creek can deliver. Goji berries, pomegranate, semi dried tomato and cranberry. Tannins grip the palate followed by pools of overflowing acidity and supple waves of paprika, nutmeg and bay leaf. Tanned leather and paperbark with baked earthenware. Sangiovese is well displayed here with an insightful nod to the site it is grown. There is a real understanding of the shape and form of the Tuscan beauty and will reward with time in a decanter. A serious wine at a sportive price. Drink with seared wagyu strips, Gochujang cradled in lettuce leaves.
