Welland Old Hands Barossa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

One sniff of this wine and it says drinks me thanks to its beautiful mix of bright, pure sweet fruits that scream cabernet. Pretty cassis aromas are lifted by green herbs which are all matched by a good dose of toasty oak. It’s instantly very inviting. There is also a core of jubey fruits on a seamless palate with well integrated tannins, that are perhaps a little soft for a long-aging cabernet. It’s delicious now, particularly with a pink rack of lamb.
