Woodvale Orchard Road Cabernet Sauvignon 2022

The fruit here has been sourced from three discrete sites across the Clare Valley, and after fermentation it was basket pressed to a mix of new and older small French oak casks, before a final blending. The colour is a bright crimson with aromas of plums, cherries and some earthy notes. There are sleek tannins here, with a line of fine acidity running the length. Hints of bitter almonds emerge on the finish, along with notes of tobacco leaves and black fruits. Enjoy over the next four to six years.
