Woodvale Sharegarden Shiraz 2020

The wine is sourced from various vineyards which are kept separate until the final blending, by which time they have enjoyed around fifteen months in older French oak hogsheads. A deep mauve, there are notes of soy, smoked meats, red apples, chocolate, warm earth, raspberries and dried herbs. A wine of medium length with fine, if ever-so-slightly crunchy tannins, fresh acidity and a lingering finish. Enjoy for the next three to four years, likely longer if needed.
