A slight whiff of smoke and flint on the nose followed by lean tropical fruits, fresh lemongrass and just ripe guava. 22% of this wine was fermented on full solids in new French oak which adds plenty of texture and detail. It’s slick and approachable with plenty of drinkability. Excellent for the price point.
