Yalumba Samuel’s Collection Barossa Grenache Shiraz Mataro 2018

This 2018 Barossan Grenache blend is rock solid thanks to a dense core of aromas ranging from blackberry, mulberry, black liquorice, and baked earth sitting pretty with old oak for support. A rich and fleshy palate follows with waves of sweet fruit and quite supple tannins before a finish of good length. Not the biggest or boldest wine but it also sits very comfortably together as a package with the personality to drink well on its own or matched up with beef off the barbecue.
