Yalumba Samuel’s Collection Barossa Shiraz Cabernet 2019

Share

Yalumba are one of the kings of Shiraz Cabernet blends and this wine shows that class at a very reasonable price. This 2019 Barossan blend of Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon is well composed with good aging potential thanks to a generous core of compact fruit – blackberry, blackcurrants, a touch of mint, with a solid dose of vanilla bean oak. A punchy palate follows with good intensity over a ripe base of tannins. Quite traditional but lots to like with very good length to finish. Nice wine.
