Yelland and Papps Limited Cuvée Grenache 2024

Share

This comes from 1930s bush vines, all dry-grown in the Marananga region within the Barossa. It’s superb fruit from a good vintage that has been brilliantly handled to coax gently all the character and gentle fruit characters into a remarkably impressive wine. It’s all been gently handled through basket pressing and a kindly extraction and maturation in a mix of new and neutral French oak. It spent time on lees, gathering further texture and complexity. It’s smooth, seamlessly put together with a perfectly poised palate structure. A blueprint for this style of wine.
