Yering Station Little Yering Chardonnay 2025

A wine with citrus pith, sliced yellow melon and raw peanut shell. There are the fresh daffodil florals but what underpins this wine is the macadamia and nut shell, which is quite poignant. A yoghurt cream and cold butter mid palate, this flirts with richness but speaks mostly of citrus and a smooth wash of malolactic harmony. This isn’t trying to do more than it is capable of and for that it is good value. A wine for a homey and warm vegetable laksa.
