Yering Station Y28 Block Chardonnay 2022

Share

The Yarra Valley brought its A Game to Chardonnay in 2022 in what was a challenging year. Yes, there were spring rains which affected flowering and, yes, there were cool conditions in the lead up to vintage, but 2022 is considered a stand-out for the grape. Off a single vineyard, Y28 celebrates the Valley’s plush, luscious, complex side of Chardonnay. Citrus blossom aromatics aplenty, stone fruits, lemon and grapefruit, pure and far from simple – more like captivating. A wine of substance that wields a leesy, nougat, cashew winemaking note, while delivering a fine line of Chardonnay fruit rich in lemon, grapefruit and lively stone fruits.
