From one of the region’s most prized vineyards in the Verduno commune, there is an immediately captivating look here: glossy crimsons, translucent. Such beauty is mirrored by a pretty nose, rose petals and cut stalks, to prepare for a rolling, rich palate, tumbling over and over with a reserved richness, savoury notes of lead pencils and forest floor, tannins superbly integrated, spicy and lengthy, a naturally comfortable line of acidity underlying and salivating. Still quite tight, promising a long and glorious life ahead.
