Marri Wood Park Cabernet Sauvignon 2022

Share

From Marri Wood Park’s estate vineyard in the northern Yallingup district of the Western Australia’s Margaret River region, certified Demeter biodynamic since 2008, steered through ferments in clay amphora and French and Austrian oak barrels to become its best self. Which starts with a matrix of crushed berries – crimson and blue, rather than black – seasoned with sage leaf, juniper and black pepper aromatics, all spilling seamlessly from nose into palate. The epitome of balance and poise, dusted with fine tannins and finishing with a subtle, sophisticated edge of gastronomic bitterness. All-round classy.
