Zonte’s Footstep Blackberry Patch Cabernet Sauvignon 2020

From the Fleurieu region, nothing like a bit of the old power of positive suggestion in the name and label. Yes, blackberries galore. Deep maroon colour, there are earthy notes. This is slightly rustic, in a good way, with ripe flavours including mushrooms, coffee grinds and those blackberries with fine but firm tannins. Impressive length, with the intensity maintained for the duration while dark plums join the black fruits on the palate. Drink for ten years easily.
