1847 Wines 170 Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

Oh, wow, this is a wonderful example of Barossa Cabernet, showing that when the seasons hang together it can produce world-class Cabernets. Highly aromatic nose with an underpinning blackcurrant plus lifted swirls of blackberry, blueberry and assorted red fruits. The palate is rich and powerful but held with firm chalky tannins and a solid amount of supporting oak. Excellent.
