Big, lively and effusive Shiraz from one of South Australia’s hot-spot regions. The fruit is delicious and after 6 years maturity doing well in handling the impact from plenty of French oak employed in the winemaking. In there, too, is a subtle dash of mint/eucalypt for an unmistakable Aussie terroir character. Work all these elements together and a certain magic happens that puts a spell on traditional Shiraz fans – that’s what’s going on here, so it’s worth celebrating such a gift that defies fashion and delivers on pure fulfilment.
