Allegiance Wines The Tiger McLaren Vale Shiraz 2022

From a stellar vintage in the region, this is a single vineyard wine which spent eleven months maturation in oak, 15% new. Maroon purple, there is some gentle oak still evident but integrating well. Notes of chocolate, coffee grinds, warm earth, aniseed and cloves. Good acidity and lots of fine but firm tannins precede impressive length. This will provide plenty of pleasure over the next six to eight years.
