Organic Hill Cuvée Rosé 2024

As with all the Organic Hill wines, this has been made with no preservatives and under organic principles/certification. This sparkling Rosé is intriguing, as it is made with Lagrein grapes, something that is certainly not common in this country. A pale orange/pink hue, the wine is quite delightfully fresh with notes of strawberries and florals, hints of oyster shells, all supported by a chalky base. It incorporates some touches of sweetness. The flavours are very much upfront, through to a lingering, clean finish. Attractively refreshing now and over the next couple of years.
