Angus the Bull Central Victoria Cabernet Sauvignon 2025

Share

It says Cabernet on the label but it’s also got 5% Shiraz, 4% Merlot and 2% Durif, with fruit coming from vineyards in Heathcote, Goulburn, King and Swan Valleys, Pyrenees and Glenrowan. Like the Porterhouse Shiraz, it’s a good food wine, and upon opening, it’s quite disjointed and the tannins are harsh, but after several hours of air, it became more silky, approachable and tasty. Lots of mulberry, cassis, black cherry, blueberry and violets.
