Ant Moore Marlborough Pinot Noir 2016

Share

Ant Moore is a bit of a star in Marlborough and while pinot noirs from the region don’t always age particularly well this wine has come up an absolute treat after five years. It’s showing a little development both in its colour and aromatics with layers of dark earth, truffle and spice sitting over some sweet raspberry which are all well balanced. The palate goes on to still have bright fresh fruits with some mushroomy aged complexity before a supple, lingering finish with the tannins super silky. Drink up over the next year or two and enjoy with mushroom risotto.
